Karen Rontowski Long Beach Concert reviews
Disappointing
Before the Houston show, unfortunately Dan Reynolds became sick and lost his voice, something out of our control. We appreciated his heart and how they turned the show into an episode of VH1 Storytellers, but we were left picking up the pieces from the weekend. We had anxiously looked forward to this show the entire summer. In advance of the show, we were unable to secure tickets through Ticketmaster, spending astronomical amounts through Vivid Seats, paying for a hotel. Attending a concert where the curtains began to close during the first song, and nearly the entire venue was shut down about 4 songs into the show. It was tough to have spent nearly $2,000, with the lead singer apologizing throughout the show for "us not getting the show that we deserved", and not having the opportunity to attend a rescheduled show or receive a portion of our expenses back.
